Doggie in the Window

Occasionally the local pet stores will have a dyed doggie in the window.  This one of course, is dyed like Tigger.  I don't think I have ever seen a dyed dog in the States - I think it makes this dog look extra pitiful!  If you look closely, you can see Sue and her friend Laura gawking at this poor little pup in the window reflection.

This one has his ears, and tail done.  Why?   I have no idea!  Once the dog is bought it would definitely be a labor to maintain!

Near the dog market was a produce stand - the produce is SO FRESH here.  All of the fruit and veggies taste so sweet and delicious! Produce is grown closer to market here so it always tastes SO GOOD!

I am told that peach season will be here in about a month, so trucks full of fresh picked peaches will be parked along side the road.  I can hardly wait!

I live in the south of China, and it never ceases to amuse me that I have some chinese friends that pamper their pooches with the dye jobs and doggie clothes, and I have other friends that eat dog.
