Hangzhou Science Museum

Sue, Peter and Jack went to what Peter called a "Hole in the Wall" science museum, but they had many good exhibits which the kids enjoyed.

They experimented with exhibits on electricity generation, and on "seeing" sound waves pass through a medium of small Styrofoam balls.

They also rowed a boat around on West Lake, in a fairly stiff breeze.  Peter kept squishing his finger on the side of the boat, so Jack did most of the rowing.  He was a good little motor!

Sophie, meanwhile, was at school playing with her friends.  Here she is up on the roof which doubles as the playground.

I wore a short sleeve shirt to teach in today, and I had many comments from the students... "Aren't you COLD?"  No!  The sun is shining and it's 70 degrees outside!

It's great to see the boys getting so educated! What a great way to learn and the pics of Sophie are precious. I especially loved the Beishan Mountain blog. The willows blowing in wind were so gorgeous! Are you planning on writing a book Tim? You are gathering great material!
Looks like the boys can join the Prescott Paddlers when they come home! Love Mom
