Sue taught again today and I rushed the kids out the door to school. As the door slammed shut behind me, I realized my keys were still inside, along with my dictionary!
Then, on the way to Sophie's school the (only) gear on my bike broke, so pedaling had no effect! Luckily, it broke right next to a bike shop and they fixed the whole thing, including parts, for about $1.50 US! My bike is making lots of other strange noises as I pedal, so I am concerned about riding it too far away from our local bike shops!
Next I pedaled way out west to my friend's house to drop some food in his fish tank while he's in Thailand. So I did lots of exploring until the ayi got to our apt to let me in.
Sue taught for 4 hours then had a nice nap in her office. Sue's students came to her office to visit her today, and she made a friend on the bus. Yesterday she went out on her own for a haircut and she's back to short and sassy. I'm proud of Sue for doing it on her own! so she has had a nice couple of days! She is still frustrated by not being able to say what she wants to say, but hey - aren't we all!
